The primary aim of BIPP Scotland is to encourage the participation of Scotland’s many professional photographers in the overall mission of the BIPP to be the voice of the profession.

BIPP Scotland works with the main body of the BIPP which apart from a small Head Office Team is for photographers by photographers. The BIPP Regional Committee consists entirely of volunteers who devote their time freely.
The photographic industry is ever-changing, so it is vital that we can adapt to new ideas and movements quickly.
BIPP Scotland members, along with other regional and national representatives, also serve on the Membership Services Advisory Board from which the Board of Directors is elected.
The Continuing Professional Development Advisory Board focuses on education, training and qualifications.
After a 38 year career in the corporate business world, Stephen is completing his BA in Professional Photography at Edinburgh College/Robert Gordon University. He holds Non-executive main Board positions at Hibernian Football Club and Edinburgh College. In addition, he is the Vice Chair of The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company.

Seasoned with superb studio management skills, working from self-stablished centrally located state-of-the-art premises, however not limited to any UK or worldwide location to meet any client’s requirements and full satisfaction.
For the last fifteen years - following a career in commercial and advertising photography - I have been a lecturer of Photography at Edinburgh College. My responsibilities include, Course Leader for the BA in Professional Photography and teaching on the HND in Professional Photography courses. I am also an associate lecturer of Gray's School of Art and an external verifier for the Scottish Qualification Authority, specifically for HN Photography. Recently appointed External Examiner for Gloucestershire University BA (Hons) Editorial and Advertising Photography.
Mhairi Bell-Moodie graduated from Edinburgh College with a BA in Professional Photography in 2016, and was accredited by The British Institute of Professional Photography in the same year. Since then, she has been working as a freelance photographer in Edinburgh. Mhairi has received two Merits in the Scottish Regional BIPP Awards and, in 2017, was a Creativepool Annual Photography Individual Winner for her series FLUX. Mhairi's latest personal work is called Nevertheless, She Persisted. It celebrates women who have overcome adversity and will be exhibited in Edinburgh in 2018. Gaining extensive experience of the Scottish photography scene while volunteering at Stills and with Retina Scottish Photography Festival, Mhairi is using this knowledge to help build the BIPP community in Scotland.
Anneleen (BA, LBIPP) is a professional freelance photographer with special interests in creative editorial portraiture and theatrical, atmospheric fashion. Her documentary work focuses on the interplay between people and their environments. Her previous studies in theatre, literature and art history inform her approach to photography, as does her love of nature; she often uses wild landscapes and styles vintage costumes to help create a narrative in her images. Anneleen's work has been exhibited and published internationally (USA, Russia, Israel, Vietnam, Mexico and UK) and she was a winner in the BJP 'Portrait of Britain' and British Council 'Shakespeare Lives in Photography' competitions.
